Hi, I'm Ryan, a garden coach, consultant, and the founder of Trellised Gardens. I created this small business to help people grow gardens that are both beautiful and bountiful and create spaces that nourish, inspire and connect.

At Trellised Gardens, I blend edible and native plants to design spaces that not only produce fresh harvests, but also support pollinators and bring balance to daily life. My approach is rooted in intensive planting, thoughtful design, and teaching clients how to feel confident and connected in their own gardens.

I’m a certified Gardenary Garden Consultant, a Certified Theodore Payne Foundation Native Plant Landscaper, and an OSU Certified School Garden Coordinator. These trainings, along with years of hands-on experience, allow me to guide clients from the first sketch of a garden plan to the joy of harvesting food and flowers just steps from their door.

At the heart of my work is connection, to nature, to community, and to the simple joys that gardens bring. A garden is more than plants in the ground; it’s a living space where beauty, bounty and balance come together.

When I’m not designing or coaching, you’ll find me tending my own home garden alongside my husband and our three boys, a daily reminder of why I believe so deeply in the power of growing.
